Meet Wendy

Arlington Charities is excited to welcome Wendy to our team as our new Community Outreach Coordinator.
This heavy metal loving powerhouse packs some serious experience in writing and marketing management. For 23 years, she worked for the Star Telegram before becoming a Community Marketing Manager for the last six years of her employment there. As Community Marketing Manager, she negotiated sponsorships, promoted fundraisers, and marketed products. The skills she learned at these positions helped her start her own business, WeWoo Marketing, where she helps clients with branding and online reputation.
Bringing Communities Together
After taking some time to herself to travel, Wendy decided to bring her unique set of skills to Arlington Charities in order to better help her community. As community outreach coordinator, Wendy is driven to let our community know “who we are, what we do, and that we are here to feed the public.” Her goal is to get out in the community to meet several new businesses a week and secure several big partnerships a year.
Personal Life
In her free time, Wendy loves to paint rocks and birdhouses as well as listen to plenty of Rage Against the Machine, Alice in Chains, and Metallica. We are thrilled to have her on our team!
