NTX Giving Day: Party at the plaza

On Friday, July 30th, Arlington Charities Marketing and Communications staff, Chris and Wendy, woke up at 3:00 AM to head over to Victory Plaza at 4:00 AM. There, they would meet dozens of other nonprofits looking to celebrate the upcoming return of North Texas Giving Day. Chris and Wendy spent all week planning for this big event and had dressed themselves like big flashy peacocks in order to get noticed by WFAA news cameras. The goal was to get on the morning news and hopefully land an interview for Arlington Charities.

The duo succeeded in their endeavors, with their goofy hats, bright signs, and energetic spirits immediately getting noticed by the news team. Wendy did a great job telling North Texas about the varied programs and needs at Arlington Charities.
